Spaghetti Spicy Tuna with Bell Pepper
Spaghetti Spicy Tuna with Bell Pepper

as an alternative for you who get bored with spaghetti bolognese, here i present spaghetti with tuna. Still around pasta (an Italian food) and bell pepper, because i’m in love with bell pepper for its smell and taste.. 😀

Let’s start cooking!

Ingredients:

250 gr Spaghetti, masak hingga al dente (500 gram juga boleh, sesuai selera :))
250 gr Spaghetti, boil it until al dente (500 gr of spaghetti is ok as well)

1 kaleng tuna siap pakai
1 can of tuna (smoke tuna is preferable)

1 buah paprika, potong dadu
1 piece of bell pepper, diced

1/2 buah bawang bombay besar, potong memanjang
1/2 piece of onion (sweet onion is preferable), sliced

3 buah bawang putih, cincang
3 pieces of garlic, chopped

3 sdm minyak zaitun (atau sesuai selera)
3 tbspn olive oil (adjust with your taste)

3 sdm minyak ikan (atau sesuai selera)
3 tbspn fish oil (adjust with your taste)

1 sdt lada hitam (atau secukupnya)
1 teaspoon black pepper (adjust with your taste) 

gula secukupnya
enough sugar

cabai bubuk secukupnya untuk rasa pedas
dried chili or chili powder

How to cook:

  1. Rebus spaghetti hingga matang al dente. Tiriskan.
    boil spaghetti until cooked al dente. Drain it. 
  2. Panaskan wajan, kemudian tumis bawang putih (untuk yang lebih suka dengan bawang bombay yang matang, tumis bawang bombay bersama bawang putih, jika lebih suka bawang bombay setengah matang, masukkan bawang bombay menjelang masakan matang –> ikuti langkah 5)
    Heat the pan, saute the garlic (add onion in this step if you prefer the onion to be well-cooked, if not, put onion later in step 5)
  3. Masukkan paprika ke dalam tumisan. Tumis hingga matang.
    Saute the bell pepper together with onion until cooked
  4. Masukkan spaghetti yang sudah direbus.
    add spaghetti into the pan. 
  5. Masukkan bawang bombay. Aduk rata.
    Add onion, mix it. 
  6. Masukkan lada hitam, sedikit gula, minyak zaitun, dan minyak ikan (sesuai selera), aduk rata .
    Add black pepper, a little of sugar, olive oil, and fish oil (adjust all flavors with your taste) then mix it.
  7. Masak hingga harum, lalu sajikan.
    Mix  until it’s cooked. Finished.  
  8. Rasa pedas didapatkan dari bubuk cabai, tambahkan bubuk cabai kalo suka.
    Add the chili powder if you want the spaghetti to be tasted spicy.
